HaslerRail OTMR

Trains are more complex than ever, with a large variety of information to gather which has to be treated instantly (signalling) or evaluated later (information).

The Hasler® TELOC® system covers the entire 'speed' chain - data acquisition by different sensors to the data recorder, acquisition of third party system information, signal transmission, data evaluation and speed indication.

HaslerRail has developed its own Gateway system for transmission of service and other data by different carriers such as Wi-Fi, UMTS (3G) or GPRS.

It is also open to any third party client, to allow almost instant access to video data in emergencies or almost real-time evaluation of energy consumption, which is of growing interest to track owners and railway companies.

According to current EU legislation, new or modified devices with safety relevant function(s) have to be designed to the EN 50126 standard in order to receive a defined Safety Integrity Level (SIL) approval.

To assist customers in designing new applications or modernisation projects and simplify the certification of an entire system, Hasler has developed SABOA Safety Board to the most stringent CENELEC standards.
