RCBO’s – CIDAC, CIDUi

Designed for harsh environments - industrial and rail traction - the Rowe Hankins RCBO uses the industry proven Eaton® AMR series circuit breaker with an integrated current sensor.

The RCBOs are available in 2 and 4 pole configurations - 2 pole series 373 and the 4 pole series 368.

Both 2 and 4 pole versions are available at MCB ratings of up to 100 amps and different residual current trip levels. See the Eaton® AR catalogue for the MCB descriptions and sizes (also highlighted on page 18 of this publication).

The 2 pole and 4 pole series are designed to measure AC residual current and trip when a fault is detected.

Various trip characteristics are available, including instantaneous fixed time delay or inverse time delay.

Trip current settings are typically between 30mA and 300mA.

The RCBO is also fitted with a 'test button' function to check the circuit breakers trip when an appropriate residual current fault is generated internally.

Electrical connections to the unit are via M6 terminals. In addition, auxiliary contacts can be specified for connection to control circuits to monitor the state of the circuit breaker.
