Role

To work as an effective team member who can multi-task in a fast paced sales and customer service-based environment with a keen eye for detail.


The successful candidate will also work and support other areas within the business including quality, health and safety, finance and purchasing, providing a dynamic experience for the individual and the oportunity to progress into a permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with incoming enquiries via telephone calls and e-mails in a professional manner

  • Record details and respond to customer enquiries appropriately

  • Process incoming orders in an appropriate time

  • Process complaints professionally and escalate to the appropriate person

  • Understand customer demands and expectations in line with the ethos of high standards of customer satisfaction

  • Arrange courier collections and generate appropriate paperwork

  • Work to relevant procedures and systems

  • Attend sales meetings and prepare documents as needed, particularly to the Sales Director

  • Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the company within the capabilities of the job holder

  • Ad hoc administrative duties supporting others areas within the business

  • Undertake relevant internal training for self-development and to support the growth of the Company

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and customers.

  • Ensure that all deadlines are met in a timely manner and customers/colleagues are kept informed of progress.

Person

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Experience of Office and Customer Service Environment

  • An ability to maintain accurate up to date electronic and manual files

  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills

  • Fluent and Literate in English
