Rowe Hankins welcomed Olivia for a week of work experience, giving her hands-on insight into engineering through circuit design, soldering, CAD, fault finding and product manufacturing, while inspiring the next generation of rail engineers.
Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Olivia to the team at Rowe Hankins Ltd for her work experience — and what a week it was!
During her time with us, Olivia got hands-on with a variety of tasks including:
Creating and testing circuit diagrams
Stripping cables and soldering
Learning CAD and other industry software
Fault finding and technical diagnostics
She told us her favourite part was learning about circuits and seeing how we manufacture our own products — and we’re thrilled she found it so interesting.
