The ACEL618-002 is a non-contact AC Earth Leakage Detection Unit designed to monitor residual current in single-phase and three-phase railway power systems. Providing reliable fault detection and protection, it helps maintain electrical safety and system reliability across rolling stock applications.

The ACEL618-002 is designed to continuously monitor AC electrical systems for earth leakage faults and residual current imbalance. Using a non-contact current transformer, the unit detects leakage currents without direct electrical connection to the monitored conductors, providing reliable and accurate fault detection.

Featuring two independent detection channels with configurable warning and trip levels, the ACEL618-002 supports early fault identification while helping protect critical railway equipment. Designed specifically for onboard railway applications, the unit incorporates detection delays to prevent nuisance tripping and provides dependable long-term performance in demanding operating environments.
