As CEO of Rowe Hankins Ltd, I’ve always believed that strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do—particularly in the rail industry, where reliability, trust, and long-term collaboration are essential. That’s why I’m looking forward to my upcoming trip to Asia, beginning on 16th April, where I’ll be meeting valued customers and suppliers across the region before concluding at one of the industry’s key events.
This visit is an important step in strengthening our global presence and deepening our engagement with partners who are critical to our continued growth.
Building Relationships in Hong Kong and China
My journey will begin in Hong Kong, a major hub for international business and a gateway into wider Asian markets. Here, I’ll be reconnecting with key partners, discussing ongoing projects, and exploring new opportunities to collaborate in an evolving rail landscape.
From there, I will travel to China, where our supply chain relationships are fundamental to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions to our customers worldwide. Face-to-face engagement is invaluable—it allows us to align more closely, ensure quality standards are met, and identify areas for innovation together.
Asia continues to be a dynamic and fast-growing market for rail technology, and we must remain closely connected to developments on the ground.
Showcasing Innovation at Asia Pacific Rail
The final stage of my trip will take me to Bangkok, where Rowe Hankins will be exhibiting at the Asia Pacific Rail exhibition.
Asia Pacific Rail is one of the region’s leading industry events, bringing together operators, manufacturers, and technology providers from across the globe. It provides an excellent platform for us to showcase our capabilities, share insights, and engage with both existing and prospective partners.
For Rowe Hankins, this is more than just an exhibition—it’s an opportunity to demonstrate how our solutions continue to evolve to meet the demands of modern rail systems, particularly in areas such as reliability, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
Looking Ahead
Trips like this are a reminder of how interconnected our industry has become. While Rowe Hankins is proudly rooted in the UK, our outlook is firmly global. By investing time in our relationships across Asia, we strengthen not only our business but also the value we deliver to our customers worldwide.
I’m looking forward to productive meetings, meaningful conversations, and sharing the Rowe Hankins story with a wider audience. If you’re attending Asia Pacific Rail in Bangkok, I’d be delighted to connect.
